I live near Gransden Lodge UK.Near my village is a memorial stone to a 405 lancaster crew .Its tended and looked after very well.

The stone stands where the Lancaster crashed .A local villager who saw the crash was so moved he decided to have the stone made and positioned.

I often visit it to pay my respects and remind myself we are in a free world due to the outstanding courage of these men.

I have pictures of the stone standing proudly as a monument to the courage of those young men.

Is there a 405 sqd society I can send the pictures to or amemorial site for 405 sqd and its men?

I can be contacted at bigalant@hotmail.com Regards Alan
